Karen Cherniss

Karen Cherniss has been a real estate professional in the Bay Area since 1986. Starting in Marin County, she sold property as well as holding management positions as the Advertising and Marketing Director for two major real estate companies. In 1994, she relocated to the Wine Country of Napa Valley, taking advantage of its beauty and healthy lifestyle. She has been representing fine Napa Valley properties ever since.

Karen received the Graduate Realtor® Institute (GRI) designation, one of the most recognized degrees in the industry, by completing an intensive twelve-month course. Other affiliations include being a member in good standing of the National Association of Realtors® (NAR), the California Association of Realtors® (CAR) and the North Bay Association of Realtors® (NorBAR ). She is a past Vice President of the Napa County Chapter of NorBAR. In 1999, she graduated from the Leadership Napa Valley program, and sat on its Board of Directors for many years as a part of the alumni outreach and fund raising committees. She is also active in fund raising activities for the Napa Food Bank and for 6 years chaired the Napa Chili Cook-off that benefited the charity.

Karen specializes in marketing and selling residential and country properties of all sizes and price ranges with skill and caring. Relocating clients find Karen expertise in real estate and knowledge of the Napa Valley re-assuring in the fluctuating economy and the ups and downs of the housing market.
